The Internet is a great thing.  It lets absolutely anybody express their opinions on absolutely anything.  As I’m sure you know, this leads to a lot of “colorful” content available at the click of a button.  However, there are many good resources out there that can help you in your daily life.  We like to think that 20sUP is one of them, but we can’t do all of the work ourselves, so below, I’ve provided a list of other websites that you may find interesting.

General Living

The Young Professional Blogs Aggregator – YP is a site that aggregates blog posts from thousands of blogs that all write about young professional life.  They have content that ranges from the inane to the profound.  You won’t find many posts that will change your life, but the site does provide insight on the lives of other 20 and 30-somethings, several of which may provide insightful tips and tricks to improve your daily routine.

Meetup.com – Meetup is a location-specific site that brings together people with similar interests.  The idea is that there are tons of people with the same interests as yours in your city, but you may never get to find them, so they provide an online meeting and coordination site so you can get out there and meet them in person.

Personal Finance and Business

Inc. – inc.com is the online version of its namesake popular entrepreneurial print magazine.  It provides articles and resources for budding and veteran entrepreneurs.  As we continue in our careers, many of us will choose to start our own businesses, and having a resource like Inc. in your back pocket can help you avoid common mistakes and provide you with inspiration.

The Motley Fool – The Motley Fool is a website that brings together value investors.  They provide a significant number of resources all geared towards those interested in the markets, and they provide sound financial planning and portfolio diversification advice.

Money Under 30 – This is a blog that provides personal finance knowledge and advice for young professionals.

Dating

Single-ish – Single-ish is a blog written by a couple of young professionals (male and female) making their way through the dating scene in New York City.  They provide amusing anecdotes, solid advice, and first hand experience of what to do and what not to do in a relationship.

Help us out

Other than the usual suspects (Facebook, Google, etc), those are some of my most visited sites.  What about you?  What sites do you use to make your life a little easier every day.  Feel free to share with our readers!
